Woman Vs. Womaniser depicts the mind of a man whose world is ruled by defiance, anger and selfish actions and finally acknowledgment of love and spirituality. These controllers have created one of the most gripping books I have read, fantastic and well written.
Its style is simple, direct, animated and vivid, whichcleverly concludes with a very clear and powerful message. The author provides us (the readers) with a choice between initiating changes in our lives rather than reacting to events.…
The emotional journey I went on whilst reading this book confirmed one of many things for me. My instinct has never let me down, whether I listened or ignored, it was always on point. Reading the book and looking back at my own experiences and of the women around me my mum, my gran, my aunts, sisters and friends I see what I knew. Some of those women are still in situations they make excuses for. JC Johnson is brutally honest, hard but soft there were moments of disbelief, laughter and pain. The…
Most of the places that J C Johnson referred to in this book, I know, as I am from London and was born around the same time as him. The description given on his life story doesn’t seem 100% true. There are many times he seem to have exaggerated his status as being a “playboy” with reference to having so many women. It doesn’t give a full description of certain period of his life into what he’s actually achieved.. From the age of 19 to his present age of completing this book. He doesn’t really me…
I enjoyed this book, and am aware of its intentions. It delivers its message honestly, but the language and structure is poor, undoing the message it is trying to deliver. Men such as Jay exist of which we are all aware and are victims of themselves, choosing to live their lives the way they do. It is a brave and raw account of a life lived at the expense of women’s financial and emotional wellbeing. Do they ever change? sometimes, but only when they want to, which is evident in this recount of …
I was extremely skeptical due to the title but after reading the first few pages of this book, I was captured!
I could not put it down. His writing had me going through a number of different emotions. He was not wrong when he said “prepare to be blown away”.
I have recommended this book to a number of people, men and women. As a lover of reading with an eclectic taste of books I don’t recommend often However, this is a must read in my opinion and something to share.
I can go on and on a…
As soon as I come across this book I said I would get it but wasn’t sure I would actually read it and like it. I got it delivered to work on a Friday and as soon as I popped on the tube home I started to read. People that read their papers or books whilst walking has always got on my nerves on the London transport but I ended up being one of them. This book got me hooked and I just wanted to read it every time I got a chance and my friend would have to tell me to put it away as it was rude as I …
At times a shocking read, and hard to believe how far some woman will go to please him. I have in the past been naive when it’s come to men and found myself relating to some of this, but fortunately also been strong enough to see the light sooner rather than later. Reading this has answered some of my questions, especially when you’ve been left wondering what you did wrong/or done to deserve this heartless cruelty. I strongly believe we have to make mistakes in life to learn/ strengthen us which…
This is an amazing and inspiring book. I recommend it to everyone frankly. I have the deepest respect for JC Johnson. He put himself out on the line to help others. I read this book in two days, I could not put it down. It took two days later for my subconscious mind to reflect on the deeper message and I became aware of insights that were so profound and that broke through my own blind spots that I can barely articulate them, but I just know them. I gave this book to a friend of mine and she wa…
